Soooo, The E List is back!
I don’t know about you, but I love me good wish list! I recently found random old pictures (including blog photos) a few weeks back. When I first started my blog, I would post wish list with a few items I spotted at the moment. My goal for the year is to make blogging be something natural. It shouldn’t be a hassle to create content when living completely in your truth. So needless to say, I’m bringing back wishlist because I am forever spotting things I love!
If you know me, you know I live for a good WOC friendly nude lipstick. I recently heard of this black owned company that specialized in just that! I know, it could’ve of been more perfect for me to find out about this hehe! According to Mented Cosmetics, Nude LaLa is a “Deeply moisturizing nude lip shade with the perfect blend of browns and pinks to enhance your multi-hued lips.” I also heard that a lipliner isn’t necessary, such a win!
So who knew that ABH made bronzers for chocolate girls? If you’ve been on a bronzer hunt like me, you would know that it’s extremely hard to find bronzers for deeper skin tones. This Mahogany bronzer provides the right amount of warmth and depth that women of deeper skin tones crave. According to ABH, “The Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer features a finely-milled formula that offers buildable coverage and seamless blending. With a natural matte finish, this powder bronzer feels traceless on the face and body, adding warmth for a sunkissed look.” Can’t wait to get my hands on this product!
If I decide to wear heels in the summer it’s definitely a block heel or a wedge! Who has time to walk in stiletto heels? This Rebecca Minkoff Candance Sandals incorporate the perfect block along with braided detailing. They also come in four colors- Black, Gold, Dusty Green and Pink. I am so torn between colors as of right now, but they are the perfect summer shoe!
Just from reading the text preview alone:
“God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.
And that’s a good thing.
Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God’s limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.”
I need this book! Jen Wilkin also wrote Women of the Word, so I know that this book will nothing less than amazing.
If you’re Christian and don’t know about Elevation Church, girl where have you been? Elevation Church is a non-denominational church located in Charlotte, NC pastored by Steven Furtick. They sing beautiful worship songs and this is their latest album. Elevation Collective features many of my favorite gospel artist- Travis Greene, Tasha Cobbs, and The Walls Group to name a few. All these artist collectively made an album of covers of Elevation songs. How amazing? I 100% recommend!
