Sephora Holiday Sale Recommendations!

Hey girl hey!

It’s definitely one of my favorite times of the year, the Sephora Holiday Sale! In celebration of my status changing to VIB Rouge (although I’m high-key embarrassed because of my spending), I definitely wanted to come on here and share my recommendations. Sephora’s Holiday Savings event takes place from now until November 15th. As Rouge member you will receive 20% off, VIB members will receive 15% off and as an insider you’ll receive 10% off. I hope this helps you as you shop the sale.

Happy Shopping!

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

This exfoliant has been the perfect addition to my skincare collection. This exfoliant has tremendously helped my skin to appear brighter, smoother and corrected many dark spots left from acne. If you are looking for an exfoliant to improve over all skin texture, please check this out!

Forvr Mood Left On Read Candle

If you know me, you know I love a candle. Left on Read is definitely a warm and spicy scent. The mix of fruity notes, caramel and coconut is the perfect combination. I also love that this candle leaves the tin in any environment you place it in!

SEPHORA COLLECTION
Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation

This foundation definitely shocked me. Sephora’s did a great job creating this foundation and here’s why. I love that this foundation is available in many different undertones (even for deeper skin tones, which is a game changer). Additionally the finish of this foundation looks exactly like skin. The shade range is steep and to make it even better, it’s inexpensive. This is also 30% during the holiday sale event so add this to your list.

Burberry Her Eau de Parfum

The Burberry Her Eau de Parfum exudes femininity, warmth and spice. This perfume smells luxurious and is a long lasting scent that you will continue to smell after your night out. If you’re in the market for a new scent, definitely check this out.

Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Cream Gloss (Dolly)

This is literally my everyday gloss. This gloss is the perfect shade of mauve pink without being extremely bright and perfectly complements my skin tone. I also love the consistency of this lip gloss. It isn’t extremely sticky and has a decent wear time.

Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanse

About a month ago, I decided that I need a gentle cleanser for my face. My previous facial cleanser was too strong and it was causing hyperpigmentation and irritation. This cleanser has saved my life! It’s moisturizing, gentle on my skin and has beneficial ingredients that improve your overall skin condition.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizing Cream with Squalane

I did a blog post on this moisturizer, so if you would like an in depth review please visit the link. This moisturizer will forever be a fave. It’s moisturizing without being super greasy and keeps my skin hydrated for a long period of time.

Laura MercierTranslucent Loose Setting Powder (Honey)

This setting powder is like no other. I absolutely love using this setting powder for under my eye. It allows me to bake without leaving a white cast. Definitely a must for setting after you highlight!

PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish: Divine Powder Blush (Paradise Venus)

This blush is the perfect shade for a natural flush of color on my melanin skin. I’ve been loving a clean “natural makeup look” and this is the perfect finish for that type of look. This blush is also highly pigmented, so it’s melanin friendly for sure.

FENTY BEAUTY Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Longwear Liquid Concealer (385)

I have re-up’d on this concealer so many times! I love the finish and coverage. It’s also buildable and doesn’t appear to look cakey on the skin. If you haven’t tried this, now is the time.

Until next time!

Later <3

FEATURED VIDEO

Yesterday’s sermon touched me. The words “you Yesterday’s sermon touched me. The words “you don’t need a plan b for your faith” convicted me to the core. We all heard the verse “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. The person that I am is someone very controlling who needs to know everything. Uncertainty gives me anxiety. That is just an indication of my faith not being where it needs to be. My faith is constantly tested and I can tell it’s in need of some strengthening. I constantly have to check myself on if I have more faith in myself, my plans, solely my works, and my spiritual health rather than God.

If that’s you, let’s make May a month of strengthening our faith. Faith isn’t uncertainty, it’s certain. It’s believing in who He is and believe that He is who he says He is. It doesn’t have to make sense and you don’t have to see it happen to believe it will. No plans necessary, according to your faith… YOUR FAITH be it unto you.

PERIODT, happy May.
Vegas Photo Dump Vegas was meh. I think that we w Vegas Photo Dump

Vegas was meh. I think that we would’ve had way more fun during the weekend vs. the weekdays so we gotta go back. No beach clubs were open and no performances 😩. That’s definitely more my speed. The weather wasn’t great either, but had to quickly remember that we needed this quality time. Hubby and I just moved, so sometimes you can operate more as business partners in marriage because you’re on go mode. Grateful to have spent some time away and together. 🤎

Happy New Year! 🎊🎆 We all know that 2021 wa Happy New Year! 🎊🎆
We all know that 2021 was crazy, but there’s always something to be grateful for.

-Starting therapy. Therapy is one of the best investments that I made this year. My therapist has and still is helping me in so many ways- as a wife, individually and professionally. Looking forward to more growth and healing.

-Celebrating myself- I had my first birthday party as an adult. I usually celebrate, but I don’t really like the whole “throw a party” thing. The attention gives me anxiety 😝. I did it and my friends and I had a blast.

-Letting go of limitations- There is nothing you can’t learn. Reading more and learning new things is something you can control. “There’s truly no amount of good vibes to come and save you. You gotta make the right choices”. Being apologetic about letting go of limits and making the right choices to help me spiritually, financially, mentally and physically. This will for sure continue this year!!!

Good health, joy and happiness to you all in this new year! 🎊

#SelfCareSunday Girl, it’s Sunday and you know #SelfCareSunday
Girl, it’s Sunday and you know I’m trying to get my life before the week starts 😆. That also means physically, spiritually and mentally. Here’s a reminder as we go into the work week.

Intrusive thoughts aren’t the ultimate truth 💭.

So before you work yourself up over something that isn’t your reality:
1. Stop, pause
2. Ask, is this the truth? Do I have any evidence of this?
3. Speak over yourself. Affirm the ultimate truth.
