I have the privilege of being a girl mom to my favorite girl😍!

Sevyn is so joyful, silly, assertive, determined and yes she’s a mommy’s girl & her daddy’s world. She is also super inquisitive. To watch her grow everyday is bittersweet because I want her to stay this little forever 🥹.

The bond that we have is something I never want to take for granted. I love waking up to her smiles and the look she gives me everyday that screams “that’s my mommy and I’m proud” lol. It’s so cute! May I always be your biggest cheerleader (I’ll be the loudest in the room 😂) and safe space. May I always allow you to show up as you are without placing limits over you. Also, may we continue to match (because you already know the mommy and daughter fits are coming..one on the way) for as long as possible before you fight me about it 😆.

Updates:
-She loves eating 🥭. We be tearing it UP!
-She is rolling over like crazy!
-She loves to sit with mommy as she does her makeup at her vanity…she sometimes cries if she can’t sit with me
-She loves reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear
-She is starting to scoot on her belly! Getting prepared to crawl soon!

This baby in a box trend was perfect as we are in a BUSY season 📦 and transitioning.

Happy 1/2 Birthday my love. My Sev, Sevy G (the BIG one lol), Sevy Wevy, Mommy’s baby and so much more lol 💕!

Mommy loves you! And 🥂 to me for killing being a momfor a half a year! It’s hella hard, but God!

Family pool day w/ my postpartum body and all 😍💦 🏝️ 🇲🇽

So this day that we found out that Sevyn doesn’t like the infant pool float that we purchased. Homegirl wanted to “swim” so we let her experiment in the kids pool. I was thinking of mommy and me swim classes, but I think she’s levels ahead 😂. I need water acclimation class first lol.

POV: You take that trip with your 5 month old for your mental health!

Despite the “if you have to take your kids it’s not a vacation” comment, imma still take that trip. Not all vacays will be with her, but god willing we will still have family trips too. It will be slower, different AND STILL I will find a way to enjoy it. Hubby and I haven’t traveled internationally in two years. Last summer I was pregnant and down bad. This time, we were not going to let that happen. Either way, NY or Mexico we still gotta parent lol.

It was a defintely a slower trip because we had her, but that needed to happen. We still had a good time! Love my little happy baby who loves me down and I love her too.

PACK WITH ME! Packing for an infant is basically packing up your whole house 😂. Shout out to #travelingmoms who pack because…whew chile! It’s a lot, but it will be so worth it. Did I forget anything?

All other items like books, noise cancelling headphone, changing pad and toys will be packed in my carry on.
