On June 21st, Mented Cosmetics launched their new Make You Blush Collection which features 4 buildable, blend-able and pigmented blushes. Y’all, I am in love!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I absolutely love Mented Cosmetics! In 2017, the founders KJ Miller and Amanda E. Johnson initially launched their company with their nude lipstick collection with melanin in mind. Sis, it was so hard to find a nude lipstick for brown girls before! They changed the game and they just won’t let up! They keep providing options of quality for every brown beauty from nude lipsticks, to foundation and now blush.

Pinky Promise – True pink with gold shimmer (3rd shade- from left to right)

Peach for the Stars – Radiant peach (2nd shade- from left to right)

Berried Away – Bright berry/burgundy (1st shade- from left to right)

Clay Too Much – Muted red (4th shade- from left to right)

Try-On

Peach for the Stars: This is honestly my second fave! This blush has gold shimmer and the peachy tone complements brown skin. I was told that it’s similar to NARS Taj Mahal blush. I love!

Berried Away: I like this blush, but I think this is more like a fall blush for me. I barely wear berry toned blushes, but when I put this on I got fall vibes. Still, very pretty!

Pinky Promise: This blush is cute, but I don’t believe it’s an everyday blush for me. Im not a fan of light pink blushes, but it’s still flattering on my skin tone.
